Minister

Shawn Price is a Christian man, husband, and father. He and his beautiful wife Sakeena have been married for 17 years. They have three children Jordan, Vincent and KeyAnna.

As a former member of the Dellcrest church of Christ, Shawn’s walk with the Lord began in 1998.  Dellcrest provided the nurturing, love, and support that Shawn needed to grow in Christ by teaching him how to love and glorify God by serving others. Shawn served in multiple capacities ranging from door knocking to preaching. 

In 2006 Shawn was accepted into the Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas.  At the Southwest School of Bible Studies, he was able to continue his Christian education and growth.  Upon graduation in 2008, Shawn served as the youth/family minister for the Corona church of Christ in southern California.  While serving at Corona church of Christ, Shawn was able to complete a Master's program in the field of Bible Studies through Corllins University.  As well in 2010, Shawn received a Doctoral degree in Biblical Studies. Shawn is currently enrolled in the Master's program at the Southwest School of Bible Studies.

In August 2011, he was hired to serve as the full time preaching evangelist for the Leakey church of Christ. Brother Price has a simple ministry philosophy which is to meet people where they are in order to get them where the Lord wants them to be. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 1:16.
